I'm just wondering if you've actually been to a funeral of someone you love and if you know that some people take life more seriously than others even if a person's only joking and if you're remembering that some people are getting maybe their first impression of what Christianity is meant to be about from stumbling across your blog? I'm really sorry to be so blunt but I'm only saying the exact same thing that I would say to any of my friends over here.

Yep, I have been to funerals of people I love. I also have friends who are blonde, Irish, doctors, lawyers... I quite like this joke because as well as being dryly funny, it's also a pretty stark reminder that our lives are finite. Cheers for your comment :)
