Hillary next President

Just a quick post, I have to shoot out the door in a few seconds.  I just want to put it on record that I predict that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the US of A.  My reasoning behind this... I have a gut feeling that there's perhaps some elite group in charge of the whole elections - and the media, and they're making out to us public that the race is really close, and that Hillary is losing...

  1. Yeah, somehow I think not, I don't think you can vote for someone after they have died, and by the time we get a president he will be long gone.... although I guess he could be a figurehead president that everyone could get behind...

  2. That doesn't make sense because historically people vote for the winner. ie in the past few elections Labour had the media's polls on their side saying that they were in the lead... and they won in the end.

  4. re: Theresa's comment...

hmmm, I'm not about to attempt to back up my theory, I just wanted to air it before the president is elected. Because looking back and going "aaaahhh, I knew she would actually win" just doesn't quite cut it ;)

  5. What dead person? why the late great Sir Edmund Hillary of course. I think if he could be elected, he would get a considerable number of votes. I would vote for him as our figurehead president anyway.....

possibly the reason that people vote for the apparent winner is because the polls got it right (shock horror)

I didn't see the "SHOW/HIDE THIS POST" link there and thought you were just posting the title....

  6. Edmund Hillary is a great hero for New Zealand, though a Socialist, and he would most definitely not get my vote.

Hmmm... People should vote on principle... to a certain extent at least. Watch this space, ACT will hit back with 7 or 8 seats this election.

    Will bold the SHOW/HIDE link...

  7. Shudder, Hill is really quite scary. She seems to have a long memeory and doesn't like Homeschoolers or Christians. She also clings to the notion that she knows what is best for everyone, including their children. I never understood the verses that talked about women who have never given birth rejoicing but....now I can. I worry enough about my younger siblings much less worring about my kids if this women gets into power.

And the sad thing is there is no one worth anything running against her. We can't even vote for McCain because he is a nut as well.

  8. I have US friends who have told me Hillary is very dangerous, and has an agenda for the US. But who knows what Obama's up to?

Hmmmm, can't you give your vote to the lesser of two evils?
