worshipping at the altar of diversity

Eunice and Owen Johns are devoted foster parents with an unblemished record of caring for almost 20 vulnerable children. But they have been forced to abandon their good work because they refuse to tell children as young as ten that homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle. "It would go against their Christian beliefs." they said.

The couple's case comes at a time when there is a chronic shortage of foster parents, who work on a voluntary basis. Around 8,000 more are needed nationally.

At an assessment where they were applying to foster another child under the age of ten, they were told "Do you know you would have to tell them that it's ok to be homosexual?"

The new law in Britain is called The Equality Act (Sexual Orientation), and I can assure you that very soon there will be a bill before Parliament asking for such a law in New Zealand. It will begin with restrictions on what you can and cannot teach your foster-children, then the law will be applied to your natural children. Following this will come a restriction from teaching your child from the Bible. At around about this time, home-education will be made an illegal practice.

How is this law any different from one that insists that parents inform their children that bestiality is an entirely normal thing for them to engage in. Or a law that demands that parents allow their children to absolutely whatever they want, whatever harm they do to themselves or others - to restrict their freedoms would be to discriminate against them!

Hillary next President

Just a quick post, I have to shoot out the door in a few seconds.  I just want to put it on record that I predict that Hillary Clinton will be the next President of the US of A.  My reasoning behind this... I have a gut feeling that there's perhaps some elite group in charge of the whole elections - and the media, and they're making out to us public that the race is really close, and that Hillary is losing...

Dark Agenda from The Press

Every Tuesday, The Press publishes "The Box" which is a weekly entertainment lift-out. It carries celebrity gossip, game, movie and technology reviews. After having a brief look at the article claiming that more and more old people are using Macs, I flicked over to the "Films of the Week" section, near the back of the lift-out.

I was intrigued to note that all the movies which had been reviewed and given a rating on this page were rated AO (Adults Only Programmes containing adult themes and directed primarily at mature audiences source).

Superman Returns was the only movie listed that would have been worth viewing and even it has the AO rating slapped onto it. However, the Office of Film and Literature Classification gives this movie anrating (Contains medium level violence). Superman is a cool movie, aimed at children, and does not "contain adult themes directed primarily at mature audiences".

So the question now is why was Superman given the AO rating? TVNZ (Government owned) begins by putting AO ratings on decent films that are suitable for children. And then once it is a common thing for children to be watching AO rated movies, TVNZ can lower the standard and bring out increasingly filthier and more perverted movies with a guaranteed increase of the number of children watching.
